Fitter Technician Profession: Fitter City: Akron, USA We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter Technician to join our team in Akron, USA. As a Fitter Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing mechanical components according to engineering specifications. You will also be required to troubleshoot and diagnose any issues that may arise during the installation or repair process. Responsibilities Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics. Assemble mechanical components such as pipes, valves, pumps, and fittings. Install and repair mechanical systems according to specifications. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with mechanical systems. Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to complete tasks. Ensure all work is completed on time and meets quality standards. Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety protocols. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a fitter or similar role. Strong understanding of engineering drawings and schematics. Experience with assembling and installing mechanical components. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment. Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and solve issues efficiently. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects.
